Echoes is a leader in connected vehicle data. We collect data directly from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)—across all makes and models—and standardize it into a universal format so that B2B mobility services can utilize it within minutes.
We are experiencing strong growth and are looking for an experienced Business Developer with a true “hunter” mindset to accelerate our expansion in French-speaking Belgium.
About the Position
This job isn't for everyone
We’re looking for someone who truly loves to sell, especially when the going gets tough. Someone who draws energy from prospecting, opening up new opportunities, and building relationships where none exist yet.
If you prefer inbound leads, established processes, consistent support tools, or an easy-to-sell product, this isn’t the right position for you.
You won’t inherit a pipeline. You’ll build it yourself.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re motivated by financial gain, results-driven, and curious enough to constantly learn, adapt, and grow.
For us, mindset and curiosity are paramount. Skills, experience, and product knowledge matter, but it’s the right attitude, resilience, and a genuine passion for prospecting that define success in this role.
Your role as a Business Developer
- Generate Your Own Leads and Build a Pipeline from Scratch
- Prospect proactively and regularly
- Win over new customers with perseverance, creativity, and credibility
- Manage the entire sales cycle through to the signing
What You'll Do
- A true talent hunter who enjoys prospecting and taking on challenges
- More than 5 years of proven success in B2B business development
- Comfortable with cold calling, follow-ups, and asking the right sales questions
- Curious, motivated, resilient, and performance-oriented
- Excellent professional communication skills and strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency in French and English (and preferably Flemish)
Compensation
We believe that outstanding sales performance should be rewarded.
Compensation is structured for top performers: a target earnings split of 50% fixed and 50% variable.
