No. Echoes solutions do not require any external equipment to be installed on your newer vehicles, provided compatibility has been verified. All our solutions connect directly to car manufacturers’ official APIs (OEM data). Activation is performed remotely, so there is no need to take your fleet out of service or carry out any technical work on the vehicles.
Which brands and vehicles are compatible with Echoes offers?
Echoes is connected to more than 30 automakers in the European market, covering approximately 90% of vehicles registered after 2018. The major automakers included are the Volkswagen Group, Stellantis, the Renault Group, the BMW Group, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, and Toyota. Can multiple Echoes offers be combined?
Yes. Our solutions are modular and designed to work together on the same OEM data platform. You can start with a single solution — CarFleet for fleet management or CarLocate for security — and activate additional solutions as your needs evolve, without disrupting your existing setup.
How long does it take to set up an Echoes offering?
Setup usually takes two to five business days. No hardware needs to be installed and no vehicles need to be taken out of service. Our teams will assist you with the initial configuration and importing your fleet data, as well as getting you started with the platform. For CarCollect API integrations, the turnaround time can be as short as 48 hours, with immediate access to the test sandbox.
Do Echoes solutions integrate with our existing tools?
Yes. Echoes offers REST API integrations with the market’s leading HRIS, payroll tools, ERP systems and fleet management platforms. Native connectors are available for the most widely used solutions. Our technical team provides support for deployments requiring custom integration.
Are Echoes offers compliant with the GDPR?
Yes, the Echoes platform is designed to comply with the GDPR. Vehicle owners must give documented consent for their data to be collected.
