We offer Vehicle Data as a Service, giving customers flexible, on-demand access to their fleet data to power efficient and relevant business use cases.
2024 has been a pivotal year, marked by strong European partnerships, new international client launches, and significant growth in the rental and leasing markets. Early this year, Echoes merged with Moving Intelligence, a Dutch leader in asset tracking and security. Together, we aim to become the European leader in telematics and connected vehicle solutions within five years.
Position Summary
As an Account Executive you are responsible for identifying new business opportunities in your territory, selling the products and services the customers rely on and closing new customers. You are accountable for executing the strategy to grow the business associated within the region. You are a born “hunter” that can excel at generating leads, oversee your prospecting region, build a sales strategy and close deals.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
- Grow market share through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing business
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Investigate potential new opportunities within existing accounts
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators that will lead to increased profit, and improved customer satisfaction
- The role requires a strong willingness to communicate primarily via phone and participate actively in team meetings, as most business will be conducted through these channels
- Attend industry functions, events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and industry trends
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years industry experience with good network for fleet and rental customers
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills coupled with technical knowledge in the telematics technology, software development, automotive and other related applicable markets
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Background in telematics or SaaS is a plus
- Must have bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, business or related
- Fluent in French and English – any additional language is a plus
- Ability and willingness to work in international and fast growing environment
